Susana Merenfeld Weisleder and Adina Kaufman
I was born into a home where my grandparents and parents were active Zionists. I studied architecture—a career I was passionate about—in Israel, a country I've always felt deeply connected to. The World Zionist Village contest gave me the opportunity to merge my family's dream with my career. Guided by my lifelong spiritual training, I was able to put forth concepts that integrate a rooted sense of belonging to Judaism, to the land of Israel.—Susana Merenfeld Weisleder
Designing the World Zionist Village was an incredibly fulfilling design journey where Susana and I became immersed in the history of Israel and Be'er Sheva, with the goal to create a space where history meets technology, and all ages of Judaism can come together as a community: in a journey that we called The Quest!!!—Adina Kaufman
